BREAKING NEWS: Bubbling is a 2GB Taking Care of Business Finalist

Radio 2GB have just announced that Bubbling With Energy Entertainment is a finalist in their “Taking Care of Business” competition.

2GB and the Commonwealth Bank have reached out to businesses to give them a hand to regenerate after the lockdowns of the past 18 months.  They called the competition “Taking Care of Business”! You can read about it here.

Like so many small businesses Bubbling With Energy Entertainment struggled with loss of business during the lockdowns. The restrictions on gatherings in homes, schools and companies devastated our normal business model. So, we applied to the Taking Care of Business competition and received a call today announcing that we are a finalist.

Bubbling With Energy Entertainment is so grateful to 2GB and the CBA for this opportunity. With the peak Christmas booking period coming up it gives us a well needed boost. We look forward to providing jumping castles and inflatable water slides for back yard parties. We also expect our Mobile Video Gaming Trailer, Mobile Escape Rooms and Foam Party products will be a hit with families, schools and OOSH centres. Companies will love our end of year celebratory activities.

Bubbling is also conscious that this competition is giving us the opportunity to continue to employ young people. Even better it’s in a job which introduces them to the hospitality and events industries.

Were you one of the 1,177,000 viewers who watched The Voice’s Keith Urban on a Bubbling With Energy Entertainment jumping castle?

Keith wanted to help semi finalist Lauren “Lau” Abend settle her nerves. So, we got a call to bring in a jumping castle. Consequently, as you can see on the clip below, Keith invited Lau to take her shoes off and join him for a few minutes of fun on a jumping castle. He wanted to help Lau to break through her nerves. It was an amazing bounce for a young girl from Mudgee NSW.

The “jump” took place at the Australian Technology Park in Redfern. It was closely supervised by one of our staff. He watched in awe as a mega star cavorted on one of our popular products.

1 Jumping Castles

1 Water Fun

It’s nearing the end of the sports season and you need to organise the Sports Club Presentation Day. Your motto for this event should be “Don’t end it on a flat note!”

Why?

  1. You want the children who have joined your Club to come back for next year’s season. They are creatures of habit and will sign up year after year if they know there’s a great party at the end of the sporting season.
  2. Then there are your volunteer Coaches and Club officials. They put so much effort into the sports club “in season” activities. The Presentation Day event needs to be memorable so that they feel appreciated, and will put even more effort into the next season.

5 Junior Footy Club Events

Here’s another Sports Club presentation idea. Are you arranging an end of season club celebration, or mid season family fun day, or want to attract potential players to your registration day? Or, you may be a feeder school wanting to have a footy themed celebration.

During the season, if you want to increase the speed and accuracy of your players kicks, hire the Soccer Radar Challenge. The player kicks the ball to the target, and our radar gun reads the speed. The display tells you how fast the ball was travelling. Also it can be used for cricket and baseball players.

Furthermore, for both footy and soccer fans we have inflatable target soccer and footy passing, and mini inflatable football passing activities.

If you are having a Gala Day, consider our 25m and 20m long inflatable soccer fields. We have two of each for hire. They are great for running separate events, and keeping spectators off the field of play. Hire all four and you can have a six a side game on one; a coaching clinic on another; a target shooting competition on another, and a goalie challenge on the fourth! Some clubs also hire the fields for soccer boot camps.

It’s difficult to find jumping castles for small backyards. Luckily, a small backyard is not a hindrance to turning that jumping castle dream into a reality!

At Bubbling with Energy Entertainment, we receive thousands of enquiries every year and one of the most common questions we get is “What can we do if we don’t have enough space for the jumping castle or inflatable our child wants?”

Good news, there are plenty of solutions and this blog aims to give you the ideas to make your child’s next birthday a huge success.

So, here’s what you can do:

  • Firstly, see all of our jumping castles for small backyards here. The access and space required for each device is listed on the product description. Maybe there is one that will fit into your backyard? If not, here are some other options.
  • Try contacting your local council as they oversee many community centres, halls, and park facilities. These options may incur a small rental fee, but provide services and space to fit larger inflatables. It’s especially relevant to remember that fairly often, parks don’t have access to power. So, be aware that generators/petrol blowers are an extra cost. Contacting the facilities department of your local council is the best way to discuss your venue needs.
  • It seems that Local Bowling clubs are growing in popularity for children’s birthdays. Food, drinks and plenty of space creates an excellent venue option. In addition, one of our customers’ favorite venues is Gladstone Park Bowling Club in Balmain, who welcome jumping castle parties, and host four children’s birthdays regularly over the weekend and even Friday afternoons.
